Hello Everybody!

It’s been a long time since I did one of these, so if you’ve been waiting for another episode, I really appreciate your patience.

This episode was recorded at the beginning of the month. It took me a while to get it uploaded because I got busy with my job. Once I was ready to upload it, my computer crashed. Life always gets in the way of uploading episodes.

Unfortunately, The Gersch was not able to be on this episode, but I did have the privilege of talking with one of the hardest working musicians in the Texas Hardcore scene, Mr Mike Fury!

I know that I always talk about this being a podcast that is all about Texas Punk and Hardcore, and I try to sit and talk with as many Texas bands as possible. However there are those times when a great touring band comes through, and I want to try to speak with those bands as well. Back in November I had the chance to speak with Sick Of It All and Kevin Seconds. This time around I had the privilege to speak with Mad Joe of Wisdom In Chains. This was a really fun interview. I hope that you all enjoy it. Thank you for listening. Enjoy the show.

Hello Everybody!

Welcome to Episode 51 of Save It For The Breakdown.

Here in Austin, Texas we are in the midst of Fun Fun Fun Fest. Thanks to Graham Williams, friend of the podcast, we were able to get access to the Homie area of the fest. This enabled Gjared and I to sit and talk with New York Hardcore legends, Sick Of It All. Later that evening we also caught up with Kevin Seconds of yet another legendary band 7 Seconds.

Here on Save It For The Breakdown we primarily focus on our scene, Texas Punk/Hardcore/Metal, but when an opportunity to sit with Sick Of It All and 7 Seconds you take it.

You can find the audio for the podcast at Podomatic, Stitcher, or iTunes by searching for Save It For The Breakdown.

Thank you for listening. Enjoy the show.
